ADP1046ADC1-EVALZ in standalone operation

Is it possible to run the ADP1046ADC1-EVALZ board in standalone operation mode? I am only interessted in generating a PWM on the outputs at the moment to test the register setup before going "live" on our development board.

I have the board connected to the ADP1046 Register Access Software and the outputs to a logic analyzer.

  • Powering the board and connecting with the Register Access Software is not a problem, but I cannot get an output on the OUTA-D or OUTAUX. I have nothing connected other than USB-I2C Adapter and the outputs to my logic analyzer. Loaded the provided ADP1046_100KHz... register settings. Am I missing something?

Edit: Something was missing in the PSON Reg (0x2C) when running standalone. After setting the PS_ON [7;6] to Software PS_ON bit, PS_ON [5] is on the PWM output works for about 80ms. With this the initial question is answered, indeed the board works in standalone mode :)
