Hello,


I am using LT3845 in a 12V to 100V Boost configuration.  I have a few questions:


1. I connected the TG to the controlling gate and the BG I shorted to ground thru a 10kΩ resistor.  I am using a diode as the secondary switch.  This circuit (attached) seems to be working.  The question I have is: Can I use the BG to connect to an NMOS?  if not, why doesnt it work?


2. Where should I connect the sense resistor?  before the inductor, on the drain of the controlling nmos or on the source of the controlling nmos.


3.Do you have an average model I can use to check for stability in a boost configuration?
