Hi,
I have a question about an application that requires inverted voltage polarity in a test chamber. Please let me explain the application background first, and then ask the question.
[Application background]
In normal mode (i.e. cooling), no voltage invert is required. On the other hand, the voltage polarity invert is required during heating.
Two independent inputs (4 lines total, 2 lines per input) are used as input lines for the thermoelectric devices.
You just need to invert the polarity of the voltage on one of the two inputs that are controlled independently of each other. In other word, only one input needs to be polarity inverted at a time.
The main specifications are as follows.
- Max voltage is 25V.
- Max current is 7A.
- No need to boost and buck. Just need to invert the voltage polarity.
[Questions]
- Which specific device can achieve this kind of inverted voltage application?
- I have narrowed down the products by "Quick Power Search" within the product category of inverting regulators. Attached are the search results. Do you think these devices are good candidates?
/resized-image/__size/1324x728/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/330/Inverting_5F00_voltage_5F00_polarity.png - No voltage step-up/step down is needed, just a polarity invert of 25V. Other than using the inverting regulator that was searched above, is there any other way or circuit to achieve this?
I'd be grateful if you could give me your advice about this.
Thanks.
