LT8609S Output Voltage Range

Hello,

Could you please let me know the output voltage range of LT8609S?

Generally, the output voltage range is specified in the datasheet, but for the LT8609S, I can't find it.

In the case of LT8609S, after calculating the on-time using the input voltage, output voltage and switching clock, is it okay to judge that the output is possible if it is greater than the minimum on-time of the data sheet?

tON(MIN) < VOUT/(VIN*f)

VOUT: Output Voltage

VIN: Input Voltage

f: Switching Frequency

I would appreciate it if you could tell me the range of possible output voltages of the LT8609S and how to calculate it.

    Hi seung-gon,

    Sorry for late reply. If Vout is closer to Vin, duty cycle goes toward 100% so consideration is MIN off-time. Output can be calculated by minimum off time. The output current ability need to be derated according to thermal limitation. Toff min typ value is  90ns but max 130ns.

    Usually a good consideration is Vout to be less than half of Vin since the bottom FET has lower Rdson than top FET. The converter can get good transient response together with best efficiency/loss performance.
