ADP5020 default options

How can I pre-set output voltages and sequencing in the ADP5020?

  • The ADP5020 has two ways to preset its output voltages and sequencing, the first one is factory programmed and it useful when no I2C bus is available on the system and the device can only be activated through the EN pin, in this case the outputs will turn on with a factory pre-defined sequence, the number of outputs enabled when EN pin goes high is also factory programmed, customers can elect any combination. The second way is to send I2C commands enabling or disabling one or more regulators, this assumes that the system has a master device controlling the I2C which is not supplied by the ADP5020, in this case the ADP5020 operates as a peripheral supply circuit controlled by a main controller powered elsewhere.
