LTC4040 No Charging Battery

Hope you are doing well.

I saw in your design that you put an LED on your FAULT pin. can you tell me the status of the FAULT pin? If the LED on this pin lights up then it may be a sign that you have have a bad battery fault. Have you tried your design specification on our demo board? It is one good way to try on the demo board so that you can check if this is due to a layout issue or not.

The FAULT LED is off, so there are no fault...seems!

We think that problem could be on inductor, maybe SW track is too thin? Looking at DC2118B (Rev. 0) SW - SW1 are connected together with a large track. 
Why there are 2 SW pins?

Demo board is good reference point since PCB layout can be source of issues. I don't have direct answer as to why there are 2 SW pins (pins 21, 22) but one reason is current carrying capability. We recommend that you get hold of the demo board;
