Questions about LTM4656 + LTC6909

Hello,

My customer wants to divide their Boost device and use multiple devices instead of one boost converter because of heating issue.

Please refer below conditions & design and let me know your opinions.

1. 12V Vin / 36V Vout/ 9A Iout   

    1) Customer's concept

        Use 1 LTC6909 for controling poliphase (30 degree)

        Use 6 LTM4656 with current sharing

Would you suggest your opinions above design concept?

    Sorry for delay. More than 2-phases may be a problem. The modules use COMP pin to provide current sharing. One of the COMP pins becomes MASTER while other pin is just loading the MASTER COMP pin. With more modules, the COMP pin may get overloaded. We do not recommend going over 2 or just maximum of 3-phases.
