Reference circuit capable of producing 100W with LT8253

Hi all,

I am thinking of modifying an LT8253 evaluation board so that it can output 100W (20V/5A).
If you have any reference circuits, please let me know.

Also, the CCG3PA firmware for the DC3004A only supports up to 60W.
Where can I get a firmware that supports different power settings?

Best Regards,
Takahiro

  • This is a question from a customer. I am being prompted for an answer.

Is there a reference circuit for using the LT8253 at 100W (20V/5A)?
Please let us know if you do not have any documents to suggest.

If there is no firmware available on the DC3004A, please let us know who to contact.

It would be great if you could give me some kind of answer.
    Thank you very much.

  • Hi Takahiro,

Sorry for delay. I hope you are able to get an answer. If not yet, I would have said that you connect to local ADI FAE who can work with you about both hardware and firmware questions. I believe 100W should be possible as LT8253 is capable for this. Do you have customer company name, project , estimate annual usage info so I can try to get contact for you?

  • Hi Fil,

I realized that there is no material that can be published.
Unfortunately, the customer has already chosen another IC.
    thank you for your answer.
