Help debug ADP2370 (fixed 3.0V) but getting 1.6V out

Hi,

This is the schematic and just today we got our board and after soldering the buck converter(ADP2370-3.0V) I was surprised to see 1.6v across the capacitor (C1) while I was supplying clean 6.0V DC. Soldering was done in a lab with the professional. The mistakes we think could be whether the connection of the respective pins of the regulator are correct. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

  • Hi Benjamin,

Would you try using the ADP2371? As it says in the datasheet:  "The ADP2371 is identical to the ADP2370 except that the ADP2371 includes the addition of an integrated switched resistor, quick output discharge function (QOD) that automatically discharges the output when the device is disabled. "
