Hi All
I want to use LT3571 as APD bias circuit for fiber sensor.
I understand the LT3571 but where can I get output signal of APD.
Normal APD operation is convertion input light signal to output current signal.
Where can I get the output current signal within LT3571 pin ?
Is it MON pin(16) ?
Please answer to me
Thank you
The LT3571 is used to generate a bias voltage for the APD diode. From the schematics shown on the datasheet it seems this is used for DC level power sensing and to control it's gain but not necessarily as a fiberoptic data receiver.
I assume you are interested in using the APD as a datapath receiver, correct?
In this case you need to add a TIA reciver to the anode of the photodiode.
The attached design example uses the ADL5317 (similar function as the LT3571 current mirrot) in conjunction to the AD8305 and a TIA to both control the APD gain and receive the high speed data.

For a TIA you could look at the following devices depending on datarate needs.

Maybe something like the ADN2820?

Let me know if I can help in any other way.
