What is the difference between ADP1043A and ADP1046A

The ADP1046A is the updated version of ADP1043A. They are pin-to-pin compatible. The improvements of ADP1046A are:

Fast OVP with analog comparator

Fast OCP with up to 440 timeout cycles

Pre-bias start up function

LLC operation

SR reverse current protection

Can I use the eval board of ADP1043A for ADP1046 devices?

currently adp1046eval board is not available with us and we need to verify a device failure encountered. we do only have the adp1043a eval board..would this be possible?

If you mean "will the ADP1046a daughter card work with ADP1043A power board" I believe the answer is yes. Please double check the pin outs of the daughter card in the user guide.

a clarification on my query. Can I use ADP1043A evalboard EVAL-ADP1043A Evaluation Board | Analog Devices  in replacement for ADP1046A evalboard EVAL-ADP1046 Evaluation Board | Analog Devices  ?

I believe they have same pin outs.,but does the components of each eval board the same?will it have no effect on the output that i would be gathering?

There have been some circuit modifications from 1043A to 1046A but it should be the same except for the OrFET polarity.
