Hello. Can I switch mode LTC3315 when it working?
When my device in wait-mode using burst mode and dynamically set pulse-skip or forced continuous mode. And how much time need to set new mode?

The LTC3315 was not specifically designed to switch modes while operating therefore we do not recommend to do this. However we also did not observe any issues switching modes when operating during evaluation at room temperature. Full testing under all conditions has not been done for switching modes when operating.
I do not know the worst case time to accurately switch modes. Once in FC mode from burst mode it can take the regulator 3 to 4 clock cycles to adjust from a high output ripple. This can be evaluated with a demo board on the bench if desired.
