Hello,
I see the only bidirectional buck boost converters in Analog devices is LT8708 and LT8708-1. These can be connected in parallel for increasing power and controlled using Master slave.
My project is Charging and discharging batteries using bidirectional buck boost converter. So, two converters are connected in parallel with different batteries connected at each converter output.
And in my project, I want to design a control loop for maintaing the desired output voltage of the converter to charge and discharge the battery. Designing of control loop is done by Microcontroller, voltage and current sampling circuits. The MCU generate PWM to control output of converters. Because I am connecting converters in parallel, I decided to use current sharing method of control loop.
So, my doubt is these LT8708/-1 are both controlled using Master slave communication. For suppose if I give some supply at the input terminals of the converter, is it possible to read voltage and inductor current using sampling circuits and then ADC to MCU. There by generarting PWM signals to drive the MOSFETs of the converter board. Is it possible to control output voltage of these LT8708/-1 evaluation boards using MCU STM32?
If not is there any idea to develop my project. Please help me have been searching for converter boards for so long.
I am uploading my project idea so that you can easily understand whether these LT8708/-1 are helpful or not?
Thanks in advance.
