ADP2441ACPZ-R7 - Charging Capacitor.

What is the minimal value of the charging capacitor for the COMP pin of the chip..?

    Hello,

    if you read the datasheet you'll find the formula for the calculation of the compensation elements. Hence there is no 'minimum' value for Ccomp. It all depends on
    1. your chosen configuration and

    2. Your desired performance/characteristic for the transient behaviour.

    You can check the perfomance in advance to any real hardware with LTSpice as well. The ADP2441 model is included in the library.

    And to be exact: It's not a 'charging' capacitor, its a 'compensating' capacitor which is part of Zcomp (see datasheet page 21)
