I'd like to know about R19/20 value of DC2190A-A.
Would you tell me the reason these value are 100ohm?
Because I couldn't find any description about this in the datasheet.
Hiro
Hello Hiro,
the mentioned resistors are filter-R for the differential sense lines. The values corresponds to the filter-Capacitor C12/C13. Details can be found on pages 17+18 in the ds. And in the manual for the demoboard. They are helpful (not mandatory) when a sense reistor is used for current sensing.
Sure you can play around with the final value, but the 100 Ohm are a pretty good starting point.
kind regards
Markus
Hello Markus-san
Thank you for your quick reply.
I have an additional question.
The R17/18 are mounted with 0ohm on this board.
Would you tell me why these resistance values are different from R19/20?
Because some products recommend the same resistors for the sense+ and sense- line , as shown below.
Appreciate for your support
Hiro
Hello Hiro-San,
I do not know the reason why R17/R18 differ from R19/20 in the eval-Kit. As you stated other documents (LTC3855) show here two identical values (LTC3833 as well).
My rough guess would be that this setup perform slightly better for the evalkit than the traditional setup with two identical resistors. At least you should provide two resistors and decide on their values during final tests with your own boards.

Hi
Thank you for your reply.
I will test on my boards about this.
Thanks a lot
