Two LT8392 in parallel


I'm designing a boost converter for powering a video flash capacitor bank and considering using two of the LT8392 in parallel to get 10A at 42V output from 11-20V input. Aside from connecting the ISMON of one to the CTRL of the other for load sharing and the tying the outputs together, are there other steps required to ensure proper operation?

    For proper operation of paralleling, it is advised that for each converters, minimization between the difference of the two converters is recommended by having the pins that control the input and output parameters be the same. Tying the pins together, such as the VIN, EN/UVLO, SS, and RT are recommended. Also, tie the VFB pins together and connect to a single resistor divider network.
