Hi Luca,

Is this in your own design? The only reasons I can think of that Vreg would not regulate to the correct value is component value selection or a problem with the input supply. Might be worth double-checking those.

Also, have you found the same problem across multiple boards? Would be good to rule out an assembly issue.

HI Zack,

Vreg un loaded should have specified output @ 12V VDD. Also second issue is Dout shows absolutely nada. No matter what goes into Din. It should send me some data but receive anything. I could post my Arduino sketch if you guys use this to simulate in lab?

No not my design, based off the LTC1325-an64f figure 1. At first all i had was vdd and gnd connected plus Din,Doot,CS and CLK connected. Subsequently added LTF,MCV and HTF. Was never able to get anything out of Dout. Which led me to validating Vreg which was also not within spec.

FYI i also opened a case with rma department.

Will get some more LTC1325 chips to test. Not so much worried about schematic but more the MPU integration at this point. Can you confirm this chip uses TTL logic 0-5v.

Datasheet figures are reduced schematics which do not show all information. If you had PCBs manufactured then you must have your own schematic? But if you don't want to share at this point, that's fine.

Yes, 0V-5V is acceptable for all TTL pins.
