LTC3616 DC DC converter

Our Design Required 3.5 Apms @ 3.3V. so we are using "LTC3616" Switching DCDC_Converter Regulator for this. because Our Input volatge is maximum 5V DC.

LTC3616 gives 3.3V  output with out load.

When I connect resistive load 1 ohm 30 watt resistor at the out put  terminals  output voltage reduced to 0.5V.

When I Increased the Resistive load 2E,3, 4E,and 5E Out put voltge varies from 0.5 V to 1.5V.

Afterthat I increased the Resistive load  for 6 Ohms then I am getting 3.3V output .

For getting 3.5 amps for 3.3V what shoukd I configure. kindly suggest.

    Thank you for following-up! Your Ith is below 1.05V so it is not triggering the overcurrent protection. However, your SW node is showing interesting graph. Can you check if your source is not limiting the needed current while maintaining 5V?

    Can you also share your PCB layout? It is also advisable to minimized your SW node in your PCB layout and avoid overlapping your SW node with ground plane and signal trace to prevent injecting noise especially at high-frequency switching. Thanks!
