LTM4653 max duty cycle

1) We need to use this part in a 50V input to variable voltage(36V till 48V)/4A output configuration. From the datasheet its not specifically clear as to what is the min drop out voltage, or the max output that can be attained at this current (it talks of max output of 0.94Vin at 0A). Kindly advise. If its not possible here, please suggest any other Analog part that can do this.

2) What is the difference between EY#PBF and IY#PBF parts?

    1) For 50V input, the max output is 0.94Vin at 0A load, which is 47V. For 4A load, the max output voltage should be even lower than 47V. Unfortunately I don't think LTM4653 can give 48V/4A at 50Vin. And currently we don't have a uModule products that can work under this spec.

    2) The LTM4653E is guaranteed to meet performance specifications over the 0°C to 125°C internal operating temperature range. Specifications over the full –40°C to 125°C internal operating temperature range are assured by design, characterization and correlation with statistical process controls. The LTM4653I is guaranteed to meet specifications over the full –40°C to 125°C internal operating temperature range. 

  • Thanks Yanliang. On the duty cycle, can you tell me exact output voltage achievable at 2Aamd 4A output currents?
