I working on a project that contains LTC1872 as a DC DC Converter. Input power is supplied by a battery (single cell or double cell CR2430 primary coin battery). Output voltage is 70V. Load is square shaped and 50 mA, 200 microseconds pulse, 20Hz frequency max. Main aim is to extended battery life as much as possible so I would like to use LTC1872 in burst mode at no-load condition. I am open to comments on this application. My first approach is to limit starting current and burst current as much as possible in order to extend battery life. I could not seen any application note of LTC1872 and could recommend me any app note to design that requirements ? Do you have any expert on this product to consult to him/her ?
