ADP3624 at 5V

The datasheet for the ADP3624 says that it can use a supply voltage from 4.5V-18V.  The peak output current is only spec'ed for a Vdd of 12V and there are no plots of output current vs Vdd.  I see that the rise/fall times and propagation delays would go up but what would be the other side effects of running this chip at 5V instead of 12V?

  • Thanks for the quick reply.  To confirm, the chip is rated for 4A output across the entire supply voltage range?  Are there any specs for Ron for the internal FETs?

We've already been running these in other projects at 12V with no problems and I'm trying to avoid any surprises if we go to 5V.
