LTC1479 is just a PowerPath manager whereas LTC1760 has the charger integrated as well. You can essentially consider the LTC1760 to be the LTC1479 plus a charger.

This also means that LTC1479 gives you more flexibility as you can choose the external charger, but that comes at the cost of a larger BOM and more complexity.

I would generally recommend the LTC1760 for most customers.

I have one more limitation, how can i charge the 15V battery from  LTC1760, Do i need any Boost converter, because i have only 15V DC supply.

While charging Battery i may need 16.5V

Hi Kishore,

The LTC1760 charges using a buck regulator, so you cannot charge a 16.5V battery with only 15V. You could boost your input voltage and supply maybe 18V to the LTC1760 - that should be enough to charge your battery.
