LT8708 with GaN FET or SiC

Question

Hello, 
 
 My customer use LT8708 & LT8708-1 in their system. 
 And they are trying to modify around circuit of LT8708 & LT8708-1. 
 
 At this modifying design, they are reviewing to use GaN FEC or SiC. 
 ( Applied points are M1 ~ M4.) 
 
 Would you confirm the usability of GaN FEC or SiC with LT8708 ? 
 
 Please advise me.

Hi Se-woong, 
 GaN and SiC are not recommended with the LT8708 and LT8708-1 devices. A separate driver would need to be used in conjunction with these devices.
