I'm using ADP 5051 quad buck regulator for FPGA power inputs. We have to select switching frequency @ 1MHZ for that in design tool there is no specific option.Input voltage is 14V, and out put reqirements are 1.2V/4A,3.3V/4A,1.8V/1.2A,2.5V/1.2A respectively for four channels. I calculated all passive component values by using datasheet but most of the component values are less available and price is much high per board. So i need to check my calculated values before ordering. If you add switching frequency selection in design tool is pretty helpful or you can send schematic for 1MHZ switching frequency with detailed component values.
There is actually a frequency selection option in the design tool. It is under "Advance Settings" option at the bottom of the "User Inputs" window. You have to note that the recommended MAX switching frequency is based on the switching duty cycle of the converter (MIN on time a factor here) and therefore the input & output voltage parameters. Please review your switching frequency choice because you may need a lower switching frequency to achieve the desired output parameters.
