Could you please explain the function of pass through mode on ADP165 ?

When and how does it work ?

Thanks.

    Hi,

The pass through mode stated in the ADP165 datasheet is the dropout mode of the LDO. It is the condition where ADP165 is not regulating and basically “passes through” any voltage from the input to the output (minus the dropout voltage). Shown below is Figure 17 that illustrates the pass through mode of ADP165.
