We need to shutoff a LTM8029 for a lower power mode feature in the device we are designing, the LTM8029 datasheet states to pull the run pin low to disable the device. I am looking for ideas how to pull this pin low in the most efficient way possible, i have access to a micro controller that can send a enable/disable signal but I am in need of some type of open-collector device to put in between the micro-controller and the LTM8029 to pull the RUN pin low without wasting current, needs to be in the <1uA range. Thanks
It's possible. Make sure the microcontroller output (current) matches the pulldown resistor value. As long as the logic high is above 1.3V, and logic low is below 0.95V on RUN pin, it should be fine.
