Question about ADP7159 LDO EN pin

Hi,

The output of the ADP7159 ldo is NOT 1V when disabled. What you see in that section where EN=0V, VIN=5.5V and VOUT=1V are the test conditions. These are voltage applied to each pin to get the pull down resistances. Also, the pulldown resistances shown in the specifications table are internal.

Thank you for your response,a quick follow up question,does the pull down

resistance value remain same for different test conditions,say for

EN=0,Vin=3.6v,Vout=3.3v

Internally, the pull down resistance is constant but is connected to a series pulldown switch. So when the voltage across the switch increases, the current that it's capable of pulling down increases, thus decreasing the switch resistance (RDSon).

The total resistance has a slight variation at different test conditions because of the pulldown switch connected in series with the pulldown resistance.
