I am attempting to run a dual power supply using this device and the supply itself works, however when I attempt to shutdown the power supply the negative rail goes to 0V but the positive sits just below the input voltage. Is this normal operation or is there something I should be doing to properly shut down both outputs?

Hi Corrin,

There is a direct path from VIN to VOUT on the positive output so at shutdown, there will always be VOUT that is a diode lower than VIN. You need a disconnect circuit to achieve what you want…

There is a direct path from VIN to VOUT on the positive output so at shutdown, there will always be VOUT that is a diode lower than VIN. You need a disconnect circuit to achieve what you want. Or opt to look at other solution like ADP5071 that has inherent input disconnect switch. Please check the output current requirements are met.
