LTC4366+LTC7682 for MIL-STD1275E

Hi there

ADI has a reference design for MIL-STD1275D with LTC4366 and LTC4363, however it's only for low current (4A) operation

I have some questions that need your advice for my application.

1. May I know it is possible that I can build a higher current (20A) system with LTC4366 and LTC7862 to pass MIL-STD1275E

2. From the demo manual of DC2150A-C , the inrush current to charge the output cap during +-7V ripple test may pre-maturelly trigger the OCP and casue LTC4366 to shut the external mosfet off. it decreased the outpt current to 2.8A during the ripple test. however, with the SS function of LTC7862, it that possible we can avoid the issue by controlling the output voltage ramp up time.

3. As mentioned in the demo manual, the D4 on DC2150A is used to block the reverse voltage -250V to protect LTC4363 and the loading system.  however;  the heat generated by diodes can't  be tolerated in high power system

Do you have any suggested solution for this problem, May I know if below LTC4359  architecture can be used to meet my requirement?

thanks

Ken
