yes that's suspicious. It is specified on lt1764 - like is has been dropped in A series. The wording on SHDN pin is the same for the two though.

By the way - also the note that it is "5V logic compatible" seems to not promise too much because I would say it is also 3.3V or even lower family logic, given a Vih_max=2V. Anyway this does not answer precisely your question. Only Analog Devices can answer.
