I recently designed a board using the LT3008-5 to supply my 5V voltage rail, I am using the 8 lead TSOT-23 package.
It seems the electronics on the board consume more current than what the LT3008 series is rated for (20ma) and the device is not regulating properly. I was hoping that Analog Devices provides a 5V (an 4V - 8V will also work) LDO that supplies 150ma or more that is also an 8 lead TSOT-23 and has the same pinout as the fixed LT3008-5 regulator.
I don't mind that if its IQ is much larger than LT3008 series.
In the meantime I will be looking through the listed Analog Device LDOs on mouser.
