AD7280a slaves not working

I am using ad7280a in demonstration project. I have a custom board with 2 ad7280a ic.

When initializing ad7280a in Daisy chain , the second device is failing with all zeros response. The master device is working perfectly I am able to read all channels value.

I have also implemented the flowchart given in the data sheet for initializations.

Need help.

I consulted marketing who said this part is "not recommended for new design". I'm afraid this old part doesn't have dedicated support.

Please consider LTC68xx series.

Thanks for the reply.

On the ad7280a product page it doesn't say that it is NRD.

If that's the case then I have to redesign the board with LTC68xx which is not possible given the current situation(lockdown). Also I am limited budget for this project, so to build confidence in the customer I have to show the basic working only.

That's why I am requesting ADI to look in the issue as I have to resolve this with limited resource so that it doesn't put burden on me and client in this pandemic situation.
