I am using ADP1048 in interleaved mode and have next problem:
as soon as I sent the ON command by the GUI I got a mess in the RAM of ADP1048.
For example, PWM_SET register changed from 0x01 to 0x11 (interleaved PFC operation to bridgeless operation), all VIN limits have new values, VOUT values also new etc
After that GUI shows the new topology (bridgeless) and some exceptions appeared.
When everything switch OFF and then switch ON again all configuration is correct until to send ON command.
Could somebody help me to resolve what is the cause.
Could you check bellow:
1. After you send command, will the main circuit work properly?
2. If 1 doesn't work, could you always keep the software on. After download the code, increase input voltage of main circuit to check if the code works?
As soon as command ON sent the input power source is come down because of some protection and ADP getting the Vin UV fault and stops switching
When save the configuration with always ON and try to apply the input power the input AC source is continuously shutting down because of protection
The dev kit works with the same source and at same conditions
if i set the input AC voltage so that the rectified voltage is close to the PFC output then PFC can startfor example, i set the mains voltage to 238Vac, rectified voltage after the bridge is 336Vdc, the PFC output is set to 340Vin this case the PFC is able to start and then i can reduce the AC voltage down to 200V and below and the output is stay at 340V level.
But if the difference is more than 8-10V then i got mess in the DSP RAM and the input source comes down because of some protection and lost communication with the host
I'm afraid that we don't have enough resource to support this kind of issue further. We recommend you connect to a local ADI FAE or get a demo board.
