I'm using ADP5062 in my product. The battery pack says that its charging temperature should be 0°C-40°C and the battery should not be charged outside that. However, as measured, currently the charging stops at -4.8°C and +58°C, which are quite close, what the data sheet says (0°C - 60°C)
Is it possible to change the the temperatures programmatically or by tweaking the NTC resistor line?
This problem is related to tests against standard EN 62368-1, which specifies that the battery shall not be charged at a temperatures outside the temperature specified the battery manufacturer.
See Table 43 in the datasheet. You can program eight different beta values for the thermistor. Try a higher value to narrow the temperature range.
If that fails, you can tweak it in hardware as you mentioned, or use a different NTC.
