DC1652A: LTC6803-2 Evaluation kit

Hi,

I have connected a 4S1P Lipo battery correctly to the new DC1652A kit but the GUI doesn't show any voltage readings. Does anyone have idea why it's not working?

Thanks in advance.

It could be any number of things given not a lot to go on here.

    * The top cell connection (Cell12) must be tied to the uppermost cell potential or the chip will not power up.

    * JP1 jumpers should both be in the 'V' position. JP6-9 should be set to the '1' positions. JP2-5 probably set to '0' positions (unless GUI set manually).

    * Ribbon cable connected to 'SPI BOTTOM'.

    * Verify GUI is labelled for LTC6803-2/-4 in top window frame.

    * Set CDC to '1' in bottom right, then 'Write Configuration' button clicked. An immediate 'Read Configuration' click should get a return value in the upper-middle field.

    * Click 'Continuous Read Cells' button at lower right.
