DC2236A-B

Question

Hey All,

I am working on de DC2236A-B and i adjust it so its output voltage turn to be 22V. As a results was the chip LTC3890 three time broken. I replaced it but i am not sure any more if this board will give the needed voltage. The only thing I have replaced was the resistor divider. I would want to know if i did something wrong. Thanks !!

Thank you for your respond. I did know the reason behind that. The Vout was connected with the pin EXTVCC. The max voltage of this pin is 14V. When i adjusted the output voltage it burned the chip. After disconnecting this pin its works now.)
