LTC3883 EEPROM Retention

The LTC3883 gives the minimum EEPROM retention at 10 years if Tj < 125 deg.C, but does not give data for lower temperatures.

The datasheet also gives a de-rating equation for Tj > 125, but I'm interested in the data retention time for Tj <125.

Can you provide an equation or chart for minimum EEPROM retention as a function of Tj for < 125 deg.C?

    Hello Chris,

You can use the same equation provided in the datasheet of LTC3883 (page 16) where Tstress is less than 125 Deg.C

This results in an acceleration factor of less than 1. Thus the degradation in EEPROM retention for Tj <125 Deg.C is negligible.

The EEPROM will last more than 10 years but the datasheet specified minimum EEPROM retention at 10 years for any Tj < 125 Deg.C

    Thanks,

    Best Regards,
