LTM4623 LGA footprint

I downloaded the tm46xx_series_cad_symbols_and_footprints zip file which contained footprints for the LTM4623.  When I look at the file for the PADs footprint, it is called "LTM4623 BGA 05-12-1949.pcb".  However the file itself says that it is the footprint for the LGA package.

Can you confirm whether this is the LGA or BGA footrpint?

Thanks.

Mark

    Hi Mark_Escape,

The LGA package uses round pad LGA, same as the BGA package so the footprint, although the document states as 'BGA' (LTM4623EY), the footprint is also valid for 'LGA' (LTM4623EV). The difference is the balls added for BGA parts. Note the LTM4623EV and LTM4623EY both share the same demo board (DC2171A-A/B).

    Thanks
