I'd like to use the LT3750 to charge a capacitor using a specific transformer which requires a 100kHz frequency.
As this controller doesn't have the ability to configure the frequency - is there a way to do it using one of the pins. Now the frequency varies between 30kHz to 150kHz while I'm using the controller.
Otherwise, is there an alternative to this controller (capacitor charger) which has a way to configure the frequency?
The quick answer is to use a fixed frequency controllers as LTC3805 (-5). However all advantages of LTC3750 will be lost as no-opto and critical conduction. Keep in mind that LTC3750 has a current limit comparator, see page 5 DS. It will prevent saturation of the transformer. Please contact local FAE for further support.
