LTC2945 Start-up

Hello, I have a question about the LTC2945.
My customer is considering the LTC2945.
I received a question from a customer.

How many mS after power-up is desired when the microcontroller accesses the LTC2945 via I2C?
Or should the microcontroller retry until correct access is obtained?

    Greetings Mochi,

         Communication is only possible after the UVLO threshold for VDD or INTVCC is exceeded.  This amount of time will vary based on the application.  If the LTC2945 has not exceeded the UVLO level, then the internal I2C logic will not yet be enabled and the part will not respond.  The customer could try to find that time and add a small amount of padding before attempting to communicate, or they could attempt communicating until the LTC2945 responds.
