As I know we can use AUX>6.25V to stop HSGATE working.
How can I stop HSGATE function when DC input=24V and connect to secondary Vout directly with a schottky diode.
At least 3 ways to do this but extra cost or loss.
1. Keep the MPS current but 24V higher than PoE output (Maybe 23.5V) schottky first priority.
2. Use a LT8300 from secondary to primary to shut down the AUX.
3. Use a LTC3786 boost and follow original function AUX sense.
Does there a better way to do this?
Thank you for your help.
There are several ways to build a PD that supports a 24V auxiliary input. These do not require an separate flyback or boost converter. Please email me and we can discuss the details of this application.
