I made the same circuit as the LT8302 data sheet p.22 [8V to 36VIN/±12VOUT Isolated Flyback Converter] .
When this was evaluated, the value of cross regulation was as large as 1.5V or more.
Do you have a cross-regulation value for this reference circuit?
If possible, I would like the data shown in the DC2096A demo manual Figures 5-7.
That p22 was made for a balanced load, so cross regulation was a trade-off. To have a better cross regulation, another transformer from Sumida could be used. The part number is: 12387-T079.
For detailed transformer datasheet and obtaining free samples, you could contact Sumida directly.
Thank you for your reply.
We use Wuth 750313443 that is very similar transformer 12387-T079.
In past data sheets(before Rev.C), it seems 750313443 was used.
And we don't want to improve cross regulation, we want to know reasonable values.
When using 750313443, is the maximum value 1.5V or more appropriate?
If a good cross regulation is of no interest to your application, then WE-750313443 is ok. And 1.5V is a reasonable value.
Thank you for reply.
In further evaluation, WE-750313443 seems to be a worse regulation(>2.0V).
I think about changing to 12387-T079 as you advised!
