Variable Voltage boost support for LT1082

Hi

Question 1. Yes, Vout = 1.24V(1+Rtop/Rbot)

Question 2. For Vout of 90 and Vin of 15V, Yes 120mA is the maximum Iout since the switch current limit is almost reached at this condition 

If you need to have  large output current on your application I would suggest using a controller such as LTC1871X ,LTC3897 or LTC3777 to not be limited buy the internal switch current limit

Thanks for the inputs. Few doubts still:

1. Whether the voltage can be varied from 60 to 90V with this resistor combinations?

2. If the input voltage is 12V will the current remains same for the 90V output ? or its going go lower?

Question 1. Yes, voltage divider network on the feed back would still be able to set Vout from 60 -90V    

Question 2. The max output current would go lower because of the higher current picks that would pass thru the switch at lower input voltage
