I have a LTC4162-S DEMO (DC2038A) board and GUI. In the user manual for the DC2038A, on page 5 under the NTC Thermistor Measurement section it says "When the JP3 is set to EMULATE, the NTC connections are routed to an on-board electronic potentiaometer which can be configured by the GUI to emulate the NTC resistor and emualte any temperature range as sensed by the LTC41622".......
Where can I find the setting to change the emulated temperature in the GUI.... I can't see it??
You're right, it is not in the GUI yet. You can manually write to the EPOT using the SMBus connections on the board. Here's the datasheet for that part: https://www.analog.com/media/en/technical-documentation/data-sheets/AD5259.pdf
If that's too much effort then you can just add different NTC values through hardware.
Thanks for pointing this out, though. I'll make a note to change the demo manual if we do not have this functionality implemented soon.
I don't think the ability to graph variable is also support in the current build (JEITA Tab)
That is supported actually, but you are using LTC4162-S which does not have a JEITA function. If you were using LTC4162-L or LTC4162-F you would see the JEITA tab. Otherwise, it is hidden (the demo manual does mention that it is hidden for lead-acid variants).
Thanks for the speedy response.... sorry I missed that one
No problem, always good to have a critical eye!
