LTC6803-1 for use on LiFePO4 Batteries

I've got 36 CALB CA100 Batteries that I want to be able to balance and have the protections on, but also be able to read out the voltage and current draw on each cell to a separate micro controller, would the LTC6803-1 be able to handle this task or is there another, more suitable option? Also I would like the cost as low as possible as I am operating on a budget.

    If the cells are wired in series (e.g. 36S1P configuration) then the LTC6803 could do the job, though you'd need 3 of them. For 12S3P setup with fully paralleled triplets, then a single LTC6803 would do. Note that when cells are wired in series, then one current measurement is all that's needed. A separate current measuring circuit could be digitized by one of the LTC6803 GPIO ports if desired.

    If the cells are not wired in series, then the situation is complicated and other techniques would be required.
