LTM4650 Vout sense issue

Dear Sir 

The following test question is customer response

1. Spec p26 circuit  , 

VOUT SENSE connection is not the same as EV KIT Application note (EV Kit part number DC2378A-B )

    

2. Customer demand is that both sets of output must have VOUT Sense(How to set up on the EV Kit)

     Or he can only have one vout with sense function

3. The current customer test results are as follows:
    (1) Vout sense is added to vout 1 and its sense to the loader header is Vout 1=0.943V
         Vout 2= 0.93V with 13mV difference

    Please find my answers to your questions below. Thank you!

    1. The VOUT SENSE connection in the EV Kit is equivalent to what we have in the datasheet as long as all capacitors and resistors marked "OPT" are not used. These capacitors or resistors serve as place holders in case change of connections or feedforward capacitor are needed. The only difference is that in the EV kit note, VOUTS1 is connected to the output of differential amplifier (DIFFOUT) and VOUTS2 is connected directly to the output while it is the opposite in datasheet example. However the connection in datasheet is for example only and either VOUTS1 and VOUTS2 can be connected to DIFFOUT or real output.

    2. If VOUT1 and VOUT2 are NOT in parallel, we do have two VOUT sense pins (VOUTS1 and VOUTS2) and they should either be tied to the real output or DIFFOUT. Please note we only have one differential amplifier in the module so only one of them can be connected to DIFFOUT for remote sensing. 

    If VOUT1 and VOUT2 are in parallel, then only one sense pin needs to be tied to either the output or DIFFOUT and the other should be left open and does not need voltage sensing.

    3. Could you please let me know if VOUT1 and VOUT2 are physically connected for parallel operation? There are many possible causes for the voltage differences and we will need the customer's schematic to analyze the cause.
