I have a question regarding the LT3580 boost converter in EP range.
Based on this page (https://www.analog.com/en/applications/markets/aerospace-and-defense-pavilion-home/aerospace-and-defense-products/enhanced-product-listing.html), the LT3580 exists in EP range.
When I look for it in the products table (www.analog.com/.../11389, I can see that the product reference is LT3580EDD#PBF and its package is 8 ld MSOP_EP.
However, in the datasheet (https://www.analog.com/media/en/technical-documentation/data-sheets/3580fg.pdf), the package of the LT3580EDD#PBF is a DFN package.
Futhermore, based on this document (https://www.analog.com/media/en/news-marketing-collateral/solutions-bulletins-brochures/Enhanced-Products-Program.pdf), the EP products shall have a dedicated EP datasheet. I can't find it.
Thank you for your help,Thomas
There are only two versions of this part, as shown in the datasheet, DFN and MS*E. I do understand the confusion from the info you've sent.
If there is something in process I'm not aware of, I will update my post.
thank you for the answer. Does it mean that the LT3580 doesn't exist in EP range ?
Thank you, for your patience.
The LT3580 is released with an MP grade option, which is what Legacy Linear Technology used to address the same market. It does not have a separate data sheet. It specifies the parameters over the Military temperature range on the same commercial data sheet. The part number is LT3580MPMS8E#PBF and the package is a plastic 8 pin MSOP.
I hope this addresses your questions.
Best to you,
thanks a lot !
