Output over voltage protection in LTM4608A

As mentioned in datasheet, Pgood voltage will pull down to ground when more voltage (+10%) applied at output side but still at SW node,switching pulses are present as shown in below simulation waveforms.

Pls suggest how to test OVP feature in LTM4608A....

  • For LTM4608A, if output voltage has over voltage, the part still switches to try to sink current. If LTM4608A tries to start into a pre-charged load, and if the reverse current flowing from VOUT back through the bottom N-Channel power MOSFET to PGND is greater than 7A, the internal current comparator trips and shuts off the bottom N-Channel power MOSFET to protect it from being destroyed. The top switch will turn on until the next clock oscillator comes in. Thanks!
