LTC4215 & QuikEval

Hi,

I want to connect my LTC4215 circuit to Quikeval software to do some debug.

If I do this via the DC590, Quikeval needs to determine what eval board is connected, and of course there isn't one.

Is there a way to run Qukeval where I can get to the LTC4215 windows and hook up the SCL and SDA lines to my circuit? Or is there another way/ tool to do this?

Thanks

    Hi Stuart,

QuikEval is a launcher for other demo programs. It identifies which program to launch by reading the ID EEPROM on the demo board. Each executable stands alone, and can be launched manually by simply clicking it in the Windows file manager. It should be straightforward for you to find and run the right GUI if you know what to look for.

    1) Plug in the DC874A demo board to the DC590 and to the PC. Start QuikEval. This should force it to download the latest executable GUI for the LTC4215. Once it is done the executable will be on your PC. Close QuikEval.

    2) Locate the newly-installed LTC4215 GUI. It will have the test "LTC4215" in the executable file name. It could be in one of a couple of places (Program Files, Program Files (x86), ...). Your best bet will probably be to search for it. It may look something like this example executable on my PC for the LTC2991:

    3) Once you have located the executable, double-click to run it.

    Thanks!
