I'm using the LTpowerCAD tool to design a 15 to 40V boost amplifier. As I need a fairly large amount of current (1.5 amps) I ended up choosing the LTC3859AL component.
I'm wondering if the LTpowerCAD tool is actually giving wrong specs. It is using the 2nd channel of the LTC3859AL, which is a buck channel. The 3rd channel is a boost channel, so I'd assume I'd need that channel to boost my voltage to 40V_DC?
Am I understanding the tool wrongly or are there bugs?
I also did a LTSpice layout (in attach), there I only get 14.505V.
